Rules & Responsibilities
At UP Matriculation Higher Secondary School, discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect form the foundation of a positive learning environment. The following rules and responsibilities are established to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution and the overall development of every student.
General Rules
- Students must arrive at school on time and attend all classes regularly.
- Wearing the prescribed school uniform neatly and properly is mandatory.
- Students must carry their ID cards and school diary every day.
- Respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students must be maintained at all times.
- Use of mobile phones or electronic gadgets without permission is strictly prohibited.
- Maintain silence and discipline during class hours and assemblies.
- Bullying, misbehavior, or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated.
- School property must be handled with care; damage will result in disciplinary action.
- Follow all examination rules and maintain honesty during assessments.
Academic Responsibilities
- Complete homework and assignments regularly and submit them on time.
- Active participation in classroom activities and discussions is expected.
- Come prepared with required books, notebooks, and materials.
- Maintain regular revision and self-study habits for academic progress.
Behavioral Responsibilities
- Demonstrate good manners and positive conduct inside and outside campus.
- Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, and school premises.
- Uphold respect for cultural values, school traditions, and national principles.
- Practice honesty, integrity, and responsibility in all actions.
Co-Curricular Responsibilities
Participation in sports, cultural programs, and school activities is encouraged to promote holistic development. Students representing the school in competitions must maintain discipline and uphold the institution’s reputation.

Monitoring child’s academic progress and behavior.
